Within the chamber of Quantum's EMC Mixer three separate mixing actions combine to mix slurries, liquids and gases with extraordinary speed and efficiency. |
The Benefits | |||
![]() |
ONE - The agitator blade moves the main   liquid or slurry flow ahead of it in a circular pattern, providing back to front mixing. | Faster Reaction | ||
| Microbubbles provide greater surface area for faster more complete reactino of gas and liquids. | ||||
| Higher Raw Material Utilization | ||||
| Microbubbles are swept off the porous septa and reacted before they have time to coalesce and float away. | ||||
|
TWO
- The centrifugal force produced
by the rotating agitator mixes the flow as it moves it from the center
outward to the wall of the chamber, positioning it for the high intensity
mechanical venturi mixing.

More Uniform Product | ||
| Mechanical Venturi Mixing has been proven in laboratory studies to produce a uniform and homogeneous non surging flow. | ||||

THREE
- High Internsity Mechanical Venturi Mixing - The flow is accelerated
to near the tip speed pf the agitator as it passes through the constricted
zone between the agitator tip and the mixing chamber's integrated baffle.
This produces a Venturi-like   mixing action that sweeps the injected
gas or liquid off the surface of the porous metal septa which is on the
face of the intefgrated baffle.
